which time it is best to keep the head of the cigar as dry as possible.

That means it should not be resting in your mouth. A wet cigar not only looks
offensive, but will begin to taste poorly as tars and nicotine collect in the saliva.

Hold the cigar firmly in your mouth when puffing, but do not clench it. During the
entire time that you are smoking, the cigar should only be in your mouth for about
three minutes. You should be savoring the flavor, not tasting wet tobacco.
